Today is World Biscuit Day, so what better excuse to share with you a list of regular supermarket biscuits which also happen to be ‘accidentally’ vegan.
Y’know I say: anything you can eat, I can eat vegan!
All ingredients have been triple checked and are correct at time of publishing (29th May 2019) and will be updated if/when necessary. If I’ve missed any of your favourites off, please let me know…
In no particular order:
Pink Wafers: Are they really a biscuit? I’m not so sure, but they’re pink so I’ll make an exception!
Oreos: Are you a dunker? Or a twister? I believe some of the flavours are also vegan friendly.
Hobnobs: They’re basically the biscuit of breakfasts and the gluten free option is also vegan friendly!
Party Rings: There ain’t no party like a biscuit party!
Lotus Biscoff: Feeling extra lucky, pair these caramel dreams with the Lotus Biscoff spread.
Bourbons: These are much cheaper than Oreos, yet just as versatile!
Rich Tea: Often mocked for being a little beige, they have their place… dunked in tea!
Ginger Snaps: It’s said that you are what you eat.. They’re a little fiery, but don’t let that put you off!
Nairn’s Dark Chocolate Chip: These are a triple threat: post, tasty and kinda healthy!
Fruit Shortcake: Don’t be fooled by their name, these are very much a deelish biscuit!
There’s plenty of vegan choices available and with demand rising, I’m sure we’ll have even more ‘accidentally vegan’ treats next year! What’s your favourite? Did it make my list? Let me know in the comments:
