10 Ways To Raise Your Vibrations

2019 is looking to be a magical year, there will be 5 eclipses, a rare planet transit, a meteor shower, a super blood wolf moon, three super moons, a blue room and a close relationship between the Moon and Jupiter.

With this in mind, I thought it would be valuable to look at simple ways in which we can raise our vibrations to make the most of these powerful energies. If channelled correctly, these energies are highly beneficials.

Over the next 5 weeks, I’ll be looking at each technique in greater detail, here is an overview…

Be Mindful, change the way in which you think
Mindfullness, is a mental state which can be achieved by focusing your awareness on the present moment, whilst calmly acknowledging your feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. Mindfulness is often used as a therapeutic technique and can be used to change your thoughts, similar to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Set position intentions
An intuition is taking the desires from your soul and putting them into the universe. It’s important to set both positive and powerful intentions, in order for the universe to receive and respond to your request. 

Look within yourself // meditate
Meditation is a practice where you use a technique, such as mindfulness or where you focus your mind on a particular thought or activity, this allows you to train your brain to direct attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. 

Let it go // journaling
It’s important to let go of negative energies and journalling has become a popular and effective way to do so. Journaling is a way in which you can explore you emotions and channel your difficult and negative feelings into a healthy and creative outcome. Journalling is a form of self-expression, which allows you to explore your emotions and enables personal and spiritual growth. The process of writing down your thoughts and feelings, ensure that you slow down and give your full attention to everything which is going on in your life. Journalling enables you to focus and face your thoughts and ensures you cannot run away from them.

Utilise affirmations
Affirmations are positive statements which help you challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. If you repeat these thoughts often, you believe in them and in turn make positive changes.

Address your desires
In order to achieve your desires, it’s important to address them. Ask yourself, what you’d like to achieve in your life – using mediums such as a focus board can be a good way to challenge and organise your visions. 

Practice Gratitude
Gratitude is simply the emotion of feeling appreciation and thankfulness. Frequently practicing gratitude is a simple way to evoke positive thoughts and feelings. Gratitude journals have become a popular way of adopting this technique.

Practice Forgiveness
In order to let go of negative energy, it’s important to let go of anger and resentment. This doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to feel hurt, but it’s important that you don’t allow these emotions to consume you.

Breathe // practice yoga
Yoga origination in India about 5,000 years ago and since then has been adapted around the world within a variety of different ways. Yoga is practiced in many places in including leisure centres, health clubs and even schools. Yoga is an ancient form of exercise which focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing which boosts physical and mental wellbeing. Yoga is based upon postures which are specially designed to increase our strength and flexibility, they also allow us to focus on your breathing.

Be kind always
It sounds clique, but everybody is fighting a battle that you don’t know. As Eggsy from the Goldie Looking Chain once said: ‘It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice…‘. An act of kindness makes all the difference to someone’s day, equally so does sharing negativity… Be mindful of others and be kind.
